Julie brings 20+ years of experience developing, branding, and launching consumer products and services in the health & wellness, retail, home & garden and life sciences categories. She offers a distinct balance of analytic and creative insights to prompt clear visions and goals that result in targeted, actionable, and measurable programs.
Julie’s career began in television researching and crafting stories for magazine-style business programming. From there, she transitioned into public relations, communications and marketing, marrying her love of storytelling with her love of business. She's worked for marketing agencies, corporations, taught at universities, and most recently was part of the founding executive teams at two successful B2C and B2B start-ups.
Some of the companies and brands she's developed programs for include: CVS/pharmacy, Colgate Palmolive's SoftSoap, Terminix, Mosquito Magnet, New England Confectionary Company, American Biophysics Corp., Universal Pest Solutions, and life science's biz Westham Co. among others.
Julie has proven success developing, launching and marketing products from inception through retirement — from single product lines to multi-product offerings. She has worked with big box, online and catalogue retailers including Amazon, Costco, Frontgate, QVC, and Lowes and has developed and led several direct-to-consumer e-commerce initiatives.
Julie's love of storytelling and marketing began at a young age. As a child she read every cereal box, toy box, every product manual, shampoo and soda bottle. And, much to her family's chagrin, wandered the house singing TV and radio jingles along with other billboard hits. At 9 years-old she designed her very first marketing campaign — a radio jingle and a hand-drawn trifold brochure promoting a “Trip of a Lifetime” to Bombay.
While most work is conducted in-house, Julie works with a vast network of exceptional professionals to ensure programs are well-honed and flawlessly executed. Those include photographers, designers, coders, manufacturers, finance experts, ad buyers, scientists, filmmakers, educators, and more.
When Julie is not working to realize her clients' visions, you’ll find her spending time with her family or on her yoga mat (practicing or teaching its innumerable gifts), reading, cooking, playing tennis, or exploring the woods and beaches with her dog Harry.
